Before I came to Fortis College I was getting some classes in at a community college not really knowing what I wanted to do and just working at the local grocery store in my town.

I wanted to be a pharmacy tech because I wanted to my foot in the door in the medical field.

A pharmacy tech that would be perfect, you know, help people, you know, and I really enjoy it now.

In the career I have chosen now I get to pay my bills on time, I get to enjoy things with my child, with my family, I get to take her places that when I was working at the local grocery store I couldn’t do those things.  I had this much money and this is what I had to do.  But now we get to take vacations, I get to enjoy things, enjoy life.
