Before I attended Fortis College I’d just come off deployment and the government contract I’d worked for had ended so I looked around and said finally I’ve got time and the GI Bill® so I can go back to school.

Fortis, when I was applying though the schools and looking at them, they were one of the most helpful schools in actually helping me with the enrollment process.

My career choice at Fortis has really helped my personal life by giving me the degree that I wanted to have to work in a field that I wanted. So it’s not so much that I’m going to a job, I’m going to something I want to do and I enjoy doing.

My family’s proud of my achievements since graduation. My wife is also a nurse so she understood a lot of what I went through and was there for me a lot.

My wife works for the VA and that’s where I want to ultimately end up myself as a veteran; so taking care of that population, working with that population of citizens is where I really feel is going to be my home.
