I was a mechanic before I started doing this for 15 years and decided I needed a change and went to nursing school.

I thought nursing was just medications, passing out, changing dressings, wounds, there is a whole other aspect, there is the caring part about people, the loving, the way that you can actually take somebody’s stress and minimize it.

When I first started here at Fortis they gave me all the information up front that I needed. They let me know what the schedule looked like and what I was committing to.

My Fortis education in my career has drastically changed probably my focus and my goals of where I wanted to go.

In my personal life it’s helped me accomplish many feats, many obstacles that I didn’t know I had, which is awesome.
